Born in England 45 years ago, I trained as a fine artist working in sculpture and painting. After traveling extensively in Europe and Mexico, I taught art in England for ten years before settling here in Southern Andalucia. The light is so perfect.

I have always been interested in exploring new techniques and mediums and have exhibited my work throughout my career. New ideas, fresh techniques and constantly finding inspiration has always been my greatest joy. The work on show here spans several years and reflects many of my interests. All my work is finished to the highest standards; my love of old things and fine craftsmanship means that I want my pieces to endure and better still to improve with age.

My inspiration is the countryside – the world around me, the work of other craftsmen and artists from every culture. I believe a successful piece of art is one that speaks to you. Speaks in a way that we may not fully understand at first but we feel an instant recognition.
